About the Café and the people who run it
Food with Friends Café is a social enterprise working with adults and young people who have a disability. We aim to give work experience and job opportunities.
Income from the Café goes back into working with the disabled community.
The produce we use has been where possible, sourced in Kent to support local farmers and demonstrate the excellent quality and variety of goods that the county produces.
Our chef uses the freshest ingredients to create wonderful, quiches, pastries and cakes and the homemade biscuits are to die for! Sandwiches are freshly made to order using local cheese and home cooked local meats.
The Food with Friends Café is on the second floor, open from 9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am - 4pm Friday. The Café with its colourful and modern décor is perfect for a light bite or a cup of coffee and a slice of home baked cake. High tea is served every afternoon with delicious homemade scones with cream and jam, perfect for meeting up with friends.
We have a complete takeaway service, you can phone or email before 11am and collect after midday, alternatively you can use our on-line query form
There are computer terminals for public use adjacent to the Café as well as wireless internet provision so you can have the perfect working lunch.
